Our story begins like many in our industry. In humble, cold-in-the-winter-hot-in-the-summer-house, in beautiful Boulder, CO. With no air conditioning, a futon, a T.V. playing re-run episodes of Star Trek Next Generation and MacGyver, and two brothers working furiously on projects with little or no budget. Chad and Ryan Serpan were doing work nearly for free, and spending every dime on marketing a fledgling freelance design business and hoping that we wouldn’t have to go back to jobs that ultimately confined our creative space.
Like many design firms, we started with a belief that we could do something that others couldn’t. Aevium works to fullfill a desire to help our clients find a voice of their own, thus creating designs that are unique to the client’s needs.
See the three rings in the logo? That intersection in the middle is also the intersection between the three styles of the three principle owners of the firm. Chris was the final piece of the puzzle that made a good team become a great team, and thus, Aevium was born.
